Cinema reels are played in 24p, 30p is alright but I prefer 25p, in New Zealand/UK/Other countries the standard is PAL which runs at 25p on TV, in the USA its NTSC which runs at 30p on TV. A difference in broadcast frequency basically. Nearly no difference to smoothness but makes it look for more cinematic.

Accidentally deleted your comment when trying to reply! I shoot all my vids in 720p 60p, and any slow-mo is slowed down by half to 30p. and then exported once the whole vid is done at 25p to give it a more 'cinematic' feel.
